How much is stump grinding?

If you have had a tree felled and now have an annoying, unsightly stump, there is a solution!

We can provide stump removal costs for any sized stump and have a range of machines to deal with them.

The normal option for the removal of tree stumps is grinding. This involves a machine with a cutter head that using sideways movements mills the stump to the desired level below ground.

This is the least labour intensive and has minimal ground disturbance.

Other options may include digging roots out, either by hand or excavator. This does however create more disturbance, with the additional problem of stump disposal once its removed from the ground.

How much does this cost?

For the grinding of a tree stump of around 450mm diameter you would expect to pay around £120.00+vat, providing there is good access for our machine.

This includes grinding the stump to approximately 150mm below existing soil levels, raking level and removing any excess chip if required.

Discounts can be provided for multiple stumps located on the same site.
