Prepare For Construction With Commercial Site Clearance

Site clearance is one of the first steps on site for any construction project. Before anyone puts a hard hat or starts the engine on a digger, construction companies need to hand it over to a different kind of expert.

These experts assess the landscape and remove trees, shrubs or stumps and any vegetation that could get in the way of construction works.

Beechwood Trees has been working in the area for 25 years, clearing sites across the Midlands. With our specialist background, we can leave your site neat and clear, a blank canvas ready for your project.

What To Expect From Site Clearance

We focus on getting the right approach for every project.

We start our site clearance by choosing the perfect combination of specialist machinery, increasing our efficiency.

Our specialist equipment ranges from forestry mulchers to cherry pickers and trailer-mounted chippers to excavators with a range of attachments.

One of our specialisms is stump-grinding, for which we use a wide range of machines.

These can grind stumps to below ground level and prepare the site for construction.

The ground can then be used for digging foundations or turfed over to create a welcoming green space.

Clients are at the centre of all of our operations, so be sure we’ll keep you in the loop, making every effort to make sure our plans align. That includes working within your budget and time restraints!

Environmental Impact

Sometimes site clearance isn’t as straightforward as we’d like. You might find your site has unusual wildlife in need of safeguarding, or trees protected by law. Tree Preservation Orders (PTOs) are placed on trees deemed to be particularly valuable for conservation or amenity purposes. This means they can’t be cut down, uprooted, deliberately damaged or destroyed. Even cutting the roots is prohibited.

As part of our site clearance services, Beechwood consultants can survey the site looking for protections and any ecological or wildlife restraints that may be on it.

Once your work is approved, we’ll provide you with everything you need, including training, method statements and risk assessments.

Tree Protections might complicate things slightly, but it doesn’t necessarily put paid to your work.

We’ll work hard for your construction project to go ahead, only now your site is enriched by a particularly valuable tree.

Choosing Beechwood

We want your project to go smoothly, from beginning to end. We have everything we need to make that possible and to increase your trust in us:

Accreditations

Accreditations are an excellent way to tell a professional from a ‘cowboy’ arborist. Beechwood Trees has numerous accreditations and endorsements, including a government TrustMark and status as an ARB Approved Contractor. In addition, we were named winners of the ‘Arboricultural Company’ award at the 2022 Pro Landscaper Business Awards!

Safety Comes First

You can rely on our comprehensive safety training, equipment and PPE, protecting our staff and clientele from potential hazards.

Concern For The Environment

We have a real passion for the environment and the trees we work with. As well as assessing protected trees, we offer tree surgery to cut away disease or infection that could spread to other vegetation or risk danger from falling branches.

Experience With Commercial Enterprises

Commercial enterprises often have unique needs. We’ve received accolades from working with schools, clubs, councils and universities, satisfying and impressing a whole range of organisations.

‘Our experience of employing this company has been superb and they have completed each task in a most efficient and professional manner. Their understanding and knowledge of what is needed, is second to none.’

- Paul Salisbury, Binley Woods Parish Council

‘Beechwood has now worked with Coventry University for a number of years  [...] Their knowledge of the profession and ability to be flexible in delivery has helped develop our green flag-winning campus.’

- Stephen Beasley, Coventry University
