The Newton Clay Shoot is a HIT!

On Friday 20th May 2022 we were pleased to be supporting Newton LDP in their very first Charity Clay Shoot at Shuckburgh Hall, raising vital funds for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute (RABI).

The event was kindly hosted by Sir James and Lady Shuckburgh within the grounds of Shuckburgh Estate.

There were 40 teams spread out across the 5 stands, which are showcased by stand sponsors, Ainscough Strategic Land Ltd, Macaw Security Solutions, Three Shires Trailers, Clements and Church, and ourselves on Clay Shooting Stand 5. Blaser were also there close to Stand 2 showcasing their amazing guns.

After some impressive shooting, there were drinks on the lawn followed by a fantastic dinner and auction to help raise the finds for RABI.

Well done to the ‘Beechwood Trees’ team of clay shooters, made up by: Simon Rotheram (MD), Jon Staveley, Rob Jones and Jimmy ‘Hot shot’ Hicks. They had a lovely day - and shot pretty well too, placing 4th out of the 40 teams entered.

Also, congratulations to Adalta Real, the deserved winners of The Newton Cup, some very sharp shooting in that team!
