Matty felt this when he returned back to the Beechwood family recently

Here are his comments on his decision to come back and join the team:

"Approximately 7 months ago, I made the difficult decision to leave Beechwood and pursue other ventures due to personal circumstances in my family.

Leaving behind such a tight-knit group of colleagues and managers was tough for me, as the bond we shared was strong.

During my time away, I stayed in touch with everyone, which, surprisingly, made me realise how much I missed the work and the unique culture at Beechwood.

After a positive conversation with Simon about the company's direction and upcoming projects, the decision to return to Beechwood became clear.

Stepping back through the doors reaffirmed that it was the right and, in my opinion, life-changing decision.

The warm welcome from colleagues and the enthusiasm from managers and office staff reinforced that I was genuinely missed.

During my third week back, I attended our team leader and manager training day, it became evident how far Beechwood has progressed and the limitless potential there is.

Exciting times lie ahead, and I'm thrilled to be part of Beechwood and its future plans.

Every day, I arrive with a smile on my face, rediscovering the joy of diverse work – from domestic projects to large-scale site work and even maintaining canal banks from a boat.

I can't speak highly enough about Beechwood and would recommend the company to anyone in arboriculture or looking for a new venture.

It's clear; I'm happy to be back with my second family."
