Rail-way to go!

Our journey towards tree and vegetation management on the rail network.

We are currently in the process of upskilling all our employees with Personal track safety (PTS) which is the qualification every worker needs before you can work on – or near – any line owned or managed by Network Rail. It is designed to help workers to understand the systems that keep them safe.

In addition they have completed the DCCR course which is designed to provide them with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work safely near DC conductor rails.

The trainer and two of our staff who passed the course with 100% test results!

Alongside the PTS and DCCR training we have also been doing work behind the scenes, to ensure our systems and processes are in place to maintain and work on the rail effectively.

We were audited by an external body who passed us to gain RISQS which is The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme – RISQS, is a comprehensive supplier assurance for GB Rail.
