Paying our respects

The Queen's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September at 11:00 BST.

The abbey is the historic church where Britain's kings and queens are crowned, including the Queen's own coronation in 1953. It is also the place where she married Prince Philip in 1947.

A Queen like no other.

We were so lucky to have you at the helm for over 70 years, ruling our country impeccably.

A dark day for us all.

Your passing will be felt for many years but we look back...grateful and proud you were our Head of State for as long as you were.

May you rest in peace.
